KM Cooper

KM Cooper has been a faithful and devoted member of The Diana Foundation for more than 15 years, embodying the very essence of service, dedication, and good-natured humor. Since joining in 2010, Coop has poured his time, talent, and unwavering care into the organization, helping to shape and sustain it as one of Houston’s most cherished institutions.
His leadership within The Diana Foundation is nothing short of remarkable. Serving a combined total of 10 years on the Board of Governors—both as Member-at-Large and Treasurer—Coop has been the financial steward and behind-the-scenes mastermind, ensuring every dollar is accounted for and every event runs without a hitch. His legacy of longevity and commitment is a testament to his selfless dedication, always stepping up when needed with a “can-do” attitude and a heart of gold (or at least bronze, as he’d probably joke).
Coop’s spirit of volunteerism was instilled in him early by his grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. C.E. Davis, who led by example, giving back to their own community in the Houston Heights and through Grace United Methodist Church. Their generosity and commitment to service left a lasting impression, shaping Coop into the dedicated leader and supporter he is today.
Beyond The Diana Foundation, Coop juggles a successful career in the legal industry, balancing his professional life with the demands of this beloved organization. And if that wasn’t enough, his third full-time job is spending his life with his long-time partner, Marc Matejowsky—a role that he might argue is the most complicated of them all.
In recognition of his extraordinary service and dedication, Coop was honored with The Diana Foundation’s 2024-2025 Golden Bow Award, the organization’s highest member honor.
