The Diana Foundation, recognized as America’s oldest continuously active LGBTQ+ organization, has announced the 73rd Diana Awards: “Shift Into Fabulous,” taking place Saturday, March 21, 2026, from 6:00–10:00 p.m. at The Motorclub in Houston.

A signature black-tie gala blending glamour, philanthropy, and laugh-out-loud tradition, the Diana Awards celebrate community excellence while raising critical support for LGBTQ+ causes. This year’s evening includes dinner, an open bar, live entertainment, and an awards presentation, with proceeds benefiting Tony’s Place and Out for Education—two organizations strengthening opportunity and support for LGBTQ+ youth and students in Greater Houston.

“For 73 years, The Diana Foundation has kept Houston laughing, giving, and showing up for our community—together, in style, and with purpose,” said Tanner Williams, President of The Diana Foundation. “This year, we’re honoring our traditions while shifting into an exciting new chapter. The legacy continues—and the 73rd Diana Awards will be fantastic.”

A Gala Built on Legacy — and Powered by Community

Founded in 1953, The Diana Foundation has a long record of civic impact and philanthropy, having raised more than $2.1 million for community and charitable organizations over the decades. The Diana Awards remain the Foundation’s most iconic annual celebration—equal parts elevated gala and beloved roast-style tradition.

In 2026, the show will honor tradition with four humorous roast-style awards that have long made the Diana Awards one of Houston’s most memorable nights out—while also introducing four new Community Diana Awards, expanding the spotlight to celebrate leaders and organizations making a measurable difference across Greater Houston and Texas.

The Venue: The Motorclub — A One-of-a-Kind Automotive Showroom Gala Experience

This year’s celebration takes place at The Motorclub, an immersive event venue set inside a classic car showroom—an unforgettable backdrop for a night themed “Shift Into Fabulous.” Located at 4245 Richmond Ave, Suite 575, Houston, TX 77027, The Motorclub pairs sleek, high-design ambiance with automotive artistry, surrounding guests with curated vintage vehicles, a dramatic open layout, and an elevated viewing experience from its loft bar.

Event-space features frequently highlighted for The Motorclub include its large open floor plan, polished/epoxy flooring, and soaring ~28-foot ceilings, creating a striking setting for dinner, stage moments, and a high-energy show.

Live Entertainment Lineup

The 73rd Diana Awards will feature three standout acts—music, comedy, and iconic hosting—bringing “Shift Into Fabulous” to life.

Tony & The Kiki (Musical Guest)
A high-voltage, genre-blending glam-powered act founded by Anthony Alfaro (vocals) and Rodney Bush (keys), Tony & The Kiki emerged in 2021 after years of collaboration, building a reputation for dance-floor-ready anthems and bold, theatrical energy.

Janan Araujo-Siam (Comedian)
Houston comedian Janan Araujo-Siam is known for sharp, crowd-loving stand-up and for running the bimonthly “The Password is Comedy Show.” She also regularly opens for hometown favorite Mo Amer, delivering big laughs with smart, quick wit.

Sister Helen Holy (Host)
The night will be hosted by Sister Helen Holy, the beloved “altar ego” of comedian Paul J. Williams, developed from his Southern Baptist roots and long-running comedic career. Known for skewering extremes with fearless humor—while still honoring faith and community—Sister Helen Holy has become a signature presence in LGBTQ+ entertainment.
